A week of Vintage Things- Toothpick giraffe

I'm joining in Meet Me at Mike's Week of Vintage Things. Here's a toothpick holder that I found at my local op shop.

When I first saw it the toothpicks were still in it, so it looked like a hybrid giraffe/ porcupine. Perhaps I'll put the toothpicks back in for display when I have a dinner party. Not enough people pick their teeth at the dining table these days.
