These are the first embellished prints of my page for the 'Sweet Marie' Itty Bitty Book Project.Was Marie Antoinette a naive young woman out of her depth in a turbulent political climate? or just a girl who saw a cake which said 'eat me', and couldn't say no? A cautionary tale close to my heart (and stomach)!

Just a question though ... couldn't the Queen of Hearts cut up the tarts with a knife?
