Blogtoberfest Blog Crawl: Issue # 5- what we can learn from animals

After a weekend at the Jack Russell Terrier races, today in the Blogtoberfest Blog Crawl I examine what we can learn from our animal friends:
Treat your washing machine like a pet, and feed it daily so it doesn't grow fangs like this one at the small things;

flap your ears and learn to fly like Kafka at Fossil Compass;

ask this shop cat for some quilting tips at Laugh out loud dolls;

and take some Blogtoberfest style notes from Taccolina and a stuffed rodent.

Inappropriate German Phrase of the Day courtesy of Babelfish Translator:
  • "Ihre Augen bringen Ihre Halskette zusammen. Sie sind sehr wachsam."
Use this phrase in a complimentary fashion, or visit Babelfish to translate this one back into English.

Between the washing monster and the rodent, I think I'm in for some bad dreams tonight :P

I got stuck on Halskette, too.

One across, 9 letters, starts with 'H'

UH. Babelfish has forgotten. I'm sure it's playing jokes on you.

Thanks for visiting Ms. reporter-girl!

What started as:

"Your eyes match your necklace. They are very beady"

became:

"Their eyes bring your Halskette together. They are very watchful."

With Babelfish, sometimes the translation enriches, sometimes not!
