Blogtoberfest Blog Crawl: Issue # 7: Jammin'

It's berry season, and the Blogtoberfesters are jammin'! But there's something sinister beneath the surface...

You can mash 'em- like Michelle at The Royal Sisters, who's making fresh strawberry jam;

you can disguise 'em under chocolate sauce and ice-cream like Thousand Threads;

you can scoff them by the handful like Bits of Sunshine...

...but just don't feed 'em after midnight if you're up too late as usual because they will turn into MUTANT KILLER STRAWBERRIES!!!

Inappropriate German Phrase of the Day courtesy of Babelfish Translator:
  • "Ich habe eine einzigartige Veränderung."
Use this phrase whenever necessary, or visit Babelfish to translate this one back into English.

Big Thanks Big Cat for my Blogtoberfest Spirit Award, I'm chuffed!

Thanks Hoppo Bumpo, who said "Her red one is a very merry form", and Erin, who said "I love your Bloglisten. And you cannot never educate me to laughter!". Such kind and appropriate words!

Cool - someone has blogged my blog! LOL

... actually ... it is kind of funny that it should be that strawberry that this happened with - because it came from that big supermarket chain that is GERMAN owned ... LOL
(which is why the often have all sorts of odd German food/etc in the catalouges we get in the junk mail)

btw ... it didn't get turned to jam or made into pie or dipped in chocolate ... it just got eaten as it was by DD (Dear Daughter) ... I really like strawberries and ice cream, but hardly ever have it lately - I never seem to be able to co-ordinate having both stawberries and ice cream in the house at the same time! (if I buy ice cream and leave it for later the "freezer fairys" eat it and there is none left when I want some!)

We have those fairies in our ice-cream too, curse them! I hope your daughter carved the strawberry and shared it around ;)
