Transport Treats and Building Site Blues

Look what arrived in the post today! A parcel of goodies from Amy of Badskirt- I was the lucky winner of Amy's Blogtoberfest giveaway. There's cute covered buttons, patchwork magazines, a little voodoo friend- and this transport fabric!

My Bug loves talking about vehicles. He calls any large vehicle 'tractor', which is what I do. I thought I'd better get educated, so when we were walking past a building site while the workers were on smoko, I said, "Excuse me, what's the name of that vehicle?"

They were startled into silence, then answered in a chorus "An excavator".

I take it as a sign of my age that the chorus from a building site just ain't what it used to be!

And excavator!! Woohoo! Glad to hear the package made it safe to you. If there's anything you aren't into, just pass it along to the next gal. I won't be offended at all!

Have fun looking at the fabric with your little one!

A little bit of education goes a long, long way....my son is still being corrected about calling everything a digger (opps!)

I have some left over turks turban seeds if you want to grow something rather weird looking but mostly water hungry & bland tasting! Let me know.
