Love to join the Veg About group.

I have parsley growing in one of the big cup and saucer pots and strawberries in a block plus capsicum in a pot on the patio. Also have 3 tomato plants in pots. I wrote a story about it maybe 2 a coupl eof posts ago on my site, In the veg patch I currently have three kind of potatoes (my first year of growing them and the second season that I have ever grown vegies)plus zucchini, corn, lettuce, spinach and pumpkin.There is nothing nicer than your own produce. Hadnt seen you vegie water saving box before..excellent :)

Count me in to! We just moved the patched - so I have 3x more vegie garden. Finally after soil preparation etc we have planted the home grown seedlings and seeds today. Raining this afternoon so wont have to water!

Hi, I'd love to join your Veg About- it will help with motivation I'm sure.

BTW, in Geelong we are on stage 4 restrictions and there are still things you can do. Get your buckets and bins under the eaves and spouts EVERY time it rains. Also catch the clean water in your house that would normally go down the drain, like waiting for the hot water to come through or even water you cook vegies, rice & pasta in. That's all safe for vegies. Every little bit helps.

Despite a lot of my vegies being munched this year by a mystery critter, my tomatoes are coming up quite strongly, and some cucmbers have self-seeded from the compost in my window boxes.

I was commiserating with some friends in the midwest section of the US about the crops. The entire cherry crop...nada in 2008. Tomatoes never ripened but got blossom rot.

I keep a lot of herbs over the winter outside, and usually force some lemon grass in water. Fun to look at.
